Abraham Lincoln while he was a youth attended school for only twelve months in all.  The lessons were small and taught mostly orally.  According to Francis B. Carpenter the artist, the tallest president was Abraham Lincoln.  He measured Abraham’s height as six feet and three fourth inches in the White House.  Other sources gave a round off to six feet and four inches with an average weight of 180 pounds.  

He grew up with his Baptist parents in Springfield and Washington.   His coffin was moving mostly due to the Lincoln Tomb reconstruction and has been moved 17 times for the safety purpose of the president’s remains. It has been opened five times.  Grave robbers even tried to steal his remains in 1876. Since father and son were not close, Abraham did not attend the funeral of his father.  He was the first US president to be assassinated and has no photograph with his wife.  His hat was called his filing cabinet since he kept all his important papers, mail and bankbook there.
